Kwadire is passionate about welding and swimming, hoping to combine these interests to become an underwater welder. While he has experience in automotive mechanics, welding is his true passion. Born in Philadelphia of Native American and Spanish heritage, Kwadire is dedicated to honing his skills and building a career that reflects both his talents and cultural background.

I'll just be reading and helping people when I'm not feeling paranoid. I'm always paranoid. I don't trust people now more than ever.

He enjoys reading, writing, drawing, working out, and striving to enjoy life. Kwadire has only been homeless for two and a half months; he’s currently staying at a shelter and focusing on rebuilding his life and staying positive, determined to achieve his dreams.

Graduating from Job Corps, Kwadire made choices as a teenager that led to consequences and made life harder, he says.

Kwadire is working on getting back into welding and getting an apprenticeship and more education, and dreams of a career in underwater welding.

Kwadire's furry companion Pooh, like Winnie the Pooh, is a great emotional support.

Kwadire is kind and compassionate and helped serve the entire day of our December Nomad Supply Drive, loading, setting up and helping manage the event.

He is currently waiting on Section 8 housing.

"My career was the first time I got a taste of it, that made me think about my life and what I'm doing to help people. Even if it's about words, I'm trying to teach old heads about manners now."
